Laughing Turtle Dove, Streptopelia senegalensis was introduced to Western Australia in 1890s from Africa. This species is now well established in part of Western Australia. Unfortunately, this lovely dove is still considered a feral species. Sometime you wonder, how long does a species have to be living on a certain land before it can be considered native?
